Prickly Pear Printing is dedicated to highlighting written and visual work with a focus on growth, beauty, and the celebration of bodies and narratives often silenced. We hope to capture stories to sustain us in what is often an inhospitable world.

WE GROW ANYWAY

Prickly Pear Printing is seeking submissions for We Grow Anyway, an anthology on queer love, growth, and survival. We want to see the work that sustains you, because that's what we need in our own lives right now-- to capture growth, beauty and celebration whatever that looks like to your queer self. So send us your odes to your body, your love poem to your best friend, to your found family, to the love(s) of your life. Send us what brightness you turn to in your darkest hours.

Submission Deadline: March 5th
We define queer as anyone who identifies as queer.
We won't leave you wondering: We will email everyone who submits whether or not we will be publishing you to let you know.
As part of our praxis in intersectional social justice we have NO SUBMISSION FEES in hopes of making publishing within the reach of all community members.
